Thank you for visiting my crochet site!

Do you like to crochet? I am assuming you do since you are here. I personally love it!
I have been crocheting for many years. I started when I was 8 years old. It was not easy for me to learn as not so many people who lived by me could crochet and were willing to teach me. However, I can be very stubborn, so with a lot of trial & error and loads of perseverance, I taught myself. Of course, my projects were not perfect in the beginning, and I made many mistakes as I simply did not know how to do many things correctly. But I was so proud of myself that I taught myself and did it! Since then, I have been crocheting whenever I have time!
I have now started to teach my children and other people in our local arts & crafts group. I want to help them, and you avoid the mistakes I made when I was learning.
Let's begin...

Quick Reference Guides for Crochet Beginners
This section is dedicated to crochet beginners. I will do my best to keep everything simple, so as not to overwhelm you. I have seen many people eager to start crocheting and then quickly become frustrated and give up completely because they started with the wrong hook size, or started with difficult yarn, or picked a project or pattern that was a bit too complicated. I don't want this to happen to you! I want you to enjoy crochet and be excited to finish your first couple of projects! So, let's keep it simple and fun at first. Then, after you have gained some experience and are comfortable with the process, we can move on to bigger and more challenging projects!
